Hung out with the boys one more time. Ford’s been such a great friend and leader for me since 8th grade. I didn’t get as close with Patrick until 12th grade, but I’ve known him for a long time too.

These guys always be hyping up my creative skills and as an Asian, I don’t really know how to take compliments. But, their confidence in me gives me confidence because they trust me. So, that’s lit.

We mostly just went around taking pictures and talking about life. And also listening to PAT’s and 4D’s songs.

I’m going to be missing Hanvision- the church that seriously helped me grow spiritually and as a person. This place has a lot on my heart, and at the current time of writing (September 2021), I still look back in nostalgia and miss Pastor Joe’s passionate sermons and the best worship sessions where you can’t even hear the person leading it because everyone around you is singing as well.

This night was a lock in, and there was a projector, so I tried something I always saw on social media from my favorite creators. I was so sentimental this night because I knew it was going to be one of the last nights with my church: on one hand, I was having such a great time with everyone, but I knew that soon the good vibes would come to an end.

How much do I miss Hanvision? I can’t put it to words. I know the next time I go back, a lot will be different with different transitions the church is going through, but I’m looking forward to going back.

What a trip. First off, Florida is humid. Way too humid. That’s about 60% of what I can remember from this trip. Other than that, I remember memorizing a bunch of rituals etc. from the book of Leviticus (in Korean!) which made it somewhat a little bit harder.

This trip definitely radiated some big time boy energy. There’s some pictures that will never get posted because I would get cancelled.

I got closer with the boys and I don’t really mind not being in any of the pictures that they posted. It brings me joy when I can serve people and bring joy to their faces. Seriously, I have never charged anyone for photos because I just enjoy doing what I do. I don’t know, maybe one day I’ll have to start charging because I damn well know the quality of my pictures and the worth I have. Maybe that day will come, but for now, I’m chill with what I’m doing.

The most memorable part of this trip was a) rotating who makes food each day b) going to a small amusement park c) and going to the gas station at night.

First full day in LA. DJ, Joe, and David all pulled up to pick me up yesterday night. It’s so good to see everyone, though. Family really is everything.

Crazy thing happened today, though. After church, we all decided to go to Point Mugu to have some beach fun…but the next three hours was crazy. My man DJ almost drowned and was taken to the ER. You had to be there to experience all the emotions going through my head,

Afterwards, we went to get KBBQ. Crazy and funny thing was that DJ left all his stuff at the beach while in the midst of a serious crisis, so he had no shirt or shoes. The manager wouldn’t let us in, so we all went to Target to get matching fits and troll the restaurant.

Went to go get matching fits with the whole squad. Five Guys logo on the front with a picture of all of us in the back. Also had some good Korean barbecue that our hyung nims provided for us.

Went down to Orange County with a couple hyungs from Korea to go wakeboarding. Honestly, the scenery was so amazing. One thing that wasn’t amazing was the fact that I suck at wakeboarding. Maybe it was because it was my first time doing it, but everyone else was amazing.

Ayo, so apparently many people cannot believe I’m a PK and that my whole family is a family connected with the church, but yeah. My uncle has been a senior pastor for a church in Ventura in Thousand Oaks called Bridge Church, and today we celebrated the church’s 30th anniversary.

A lot of people came. A LOT. It’s crazy to think that my uncle is a senior pastor because I’ve known him before that when he used to always crack stupid joke etc (like me :) ).
