How to Be a Man (of Conviction)
This is how to become a man (of conviction).
Being a man (of conviction) means living with a clear set of values and having the courage to stick to them even when it gets hard.
It means to not just talk the talk, but walk the talk- standing firm to my purpose even if I am the only one standing.
And by saying all this, I do not mean being rigid, cocky, and not willing to listen to other voices because “my convictions are set,” but being a guy that continues to learn and grow while not compromising his values.
It means to be confident in who I am and what I stand for because my confidence comes from the unwavering and perfect confidence of my Father in heaven.
It means that if I say something out loud, it’s set in stone. Don’t be someone who wavers ilike the waves in his opinions.
It means that if I commit to something, I commit to it 110%- giving everything I have to fulfill the goals I set in place.
It means that my words have heavy weight- if I say something, others know it’s legit. Don’t be the boy who cried wolf.
It means being driven by internal motivation- doing things because I want to become better for myself with the fear that I do not want to be the same person I was a year ago, and not for any external factors.
